1.      Apologies for Absence

      Apologies were received from Cllrs M.Fyrer, J.R.A.Sayers and R.Sims.

 

2.   Minutes

      RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting held on 12th March 2007 be signed as a true record.

               

3.   To discuss general Cemetery Improvements    

 

      Councillors suggested the following improvements

 

i.                    The Cemetery building  to be tidied up and painted

ii.                  To investigate the possibility of moving the gates further into the Cemetery grounds, thus allowing for some parking outside the gates when the gates are locked.

iii.                The possible installation of a new path on the right hand side of the cemetery.

iv.                 To investigate the ownership of the land on the right hand side of the cemetery building.

v.                   To look into the possibility of purchasing the land next to the cemetery, currently used by Hampden House for the purpose of extending the cemetery in years to come.

vi.                 To ask the Vicar for some input on the matter. 

 

AGREED all proposed improvements to be added to an items brought forward list for the Cemetery.
