Minutes of the meeting of the Development and Planning Committee

held in The Stevenson Centre on Monday 8 October 2007

1)            Apologies for Absence

           Apologies were received from Councillors H.N.Todd, J.R.A.Sayers and

           D.M.Walton.   

 

2)        Declarations of Interest, Gift and Hospitality  

           Cllr Beer declared that he is a Suffolk County Councillor, Babergh District

           Councillor and Sudbury Town Councillor. Cllr Mrs Todd declared that she

           is a Babergh District Councillor. These members also asked that it be noted

           that their views expressed at this meeting would be based on information

           available at the time and might not be the same as those expressed at

           meetings involving other councils

            i)            B/07/01264/LBC/GD – Lawn House, Upper Tye

.                       Application for Listed Building Consent – Conversion of existing coach

                        Recommended – APPROVAL

 

            ii)            B/07/01266/FUl/ – Lawn House, Upper Tye   

                        Conversion of existing coach house and outbuildings into a two storey

                     dwelling garage. Conversion of a new vehicular access.

                        Recommended – APPROVAL

 

iii)               B/07/00981/FHA/MB – The Red House, 126 Bures Road  

Alterations and extension to existing outbuilding and erection of boundary walls. Amendment 

Recommended – APPROVAL

             iv)            B/07/01335/LBC/GD – Lawn House, Upper Tye

                        Application for Listed Building Consent – Demolition of existing

                      sheds and wall. Erection of garage and garden room. Associated

                      external works.

                         Recommended – APPROVAL

 

            v)             B/06/01450/RES/CT – Land adjacent Maldon grey and Land Opposite

                      63 to 69, Cats lane

Residential development of 42 houses, flats and mobility bungalows.
