1) Apologies for Absence
Apologies were received from Councillors W.L.Gibson, M.Fryer and
Mrs.F.A.Jackson.
2) Declarations of Interest
Cllr.J.R.A.Sayers declared a Personal Interest with regards to his membership of
Sudbury Town Council and Babergh District Council.
Item 4a) Cornard Tye Residents Association:Old Joes Driving Range
Cllr.J.R.A.Sayers declared a Personal Interest.
3) Suggestions of Street Names for new developments
The Council Manager advised, that Babergh District Council had received a
request from the developer of Radiator Road, asking for suggestions for street
names and postal numbering.
AGREED to put forward the following names specifically for
Radiator Road Site - Freddy and Ivy Jacobs
Melso
Rugby Road Site - Joyce Game
John Spicer
Guy Grantham
Also suggest the following names for all future developments in Great Cornard.
Upper/Lower Reeve
The Glebe
Windmill
Pottersfield
Topsfield
4) Correspondence
a. Cornard Tye Residents Assoc: Old Joes Driving Range
Cllr.J.R.A.Sayers declared a Personal Interest.
AGREED to write to the resident’s associations thanking them for their letter of objection re. Planning Application B/05/00895/FUL/GD and advising that, unfortunately, by the time this Committee met, Babergh District Council had already considered the application and approved it.
b. Suffolk County Council Local transport plan 2006-2011
NOTED
AGREED if no councillor can attend the October forum, Cllr.Mrs.C.J.Baker to
reply to the questionnaire on behalf of the Council.
