1) Apologies for Absence
Apologies were received from Councillor R.I.Wade.
2) Declarations of Interest, Gifts or Hospitality
Cllr.P.K.Beer declared a personal interest with regards to his
membership of Sudbury Town Council, Babergh District Council and
Suffolk County Council.
Cllr.H.N.Todd declared a personal interest with regards to his membership of
Babergh District Council.
Cllr.M.D.Newman declared a personal interest with regards to his
membership of Babergh District Council.
Cllr.Mrs.F.A.Jackson declared a personal interest in Item 4 as she is
a member of Sudbury WATCH.
3) Chairman’s Announcements
a) There had been an arson attack at The Stevenson Centre over the previous week-end. Damage had been done to the lorry container owned by Sudbury Toy Library.
b) Cllr. Newman had produced some sample ID Cards for Councillors. It was AGREED that these would be helpful and the Council manager will look into producing some suitable cards.
c) The Council Chairman would be calling an Extraordinary Meeting of the Council on Wednesday 4th July to correct an error in procedure at an earlier meeting. The only item to be discussed would be the request by Cornard United to site a mobile ‘phone antenna on their floodlight pylon.

a. Stevenson Centre Task Group
Membership of the Task Group was confirmed as:- Councillors H.N. Todd, P.K.Beer, D.R.G.Thomas, F.A. Jackson, N.H.T. Proctor and the Council Manager
b. Village Hall Lease
Cllr Baker confirmed that negotiations would be re-opened probably in September.
