1)  Apologies and Substitutions

      Apologies were received from Councillors A.C.Bavington and R.R.Sims

2)   Declarations of Interest, Gifts or Hospitality

      None

3)   Further advice on Blackhouse Lane Lease 

      AGREED the Council Manager to circulate the comments from our solicitor

      regarding the Council’s question on the possible inclusion of break points in

      the Lease.

      It was agreed to RECOMMEND to full council that the Lease start with a clear

      five year period and then to retain a “running” break clause with one years

      notice.

      AGREED copies of the proposed lease to be circulated to all members prior to

      the next full council meeting on the 11^th September 2006 .

4)  Update on Boxing Club correspondence     

      It was agreed to RECOMMEND to full Council that the Parish Council fully

      support the suggestion to build the boxing club behind the swimming pool on

      the Great Cornard Upper School site. However, an area behind the conifers

      on the Blackhouse Lane site should still be considered as a possible

      alternative.
