Age Concern’s Sudbury charity shop at 18 North Street re-opened in April 2010. Our bright new shop has a great range of nearly new clothing, books and bric-a-brac and all funds raised from the shop support our local services for older people in Suffolk. Independent Advocacy Service Advocacy support to people in Suffolk over 55 during periods of disability or ill health who are having to make decisions about their life and/or their care. Day Care Services & Dementia Our Chilton Centre in Martins Road, Sudbury is open Monday to Friday, offering a refreshing day out for frail older people with mental health needs. The Chilton Centre, Sudbury is a specialist Day Centre for those affected with Dementia. Our service is designed to offer support for individuals experiencing life changes, respite for carers and much more. VOICE Older People’s Panel is an independent panel of older people, including frail older people, living across Suffolk. They are consulted about local services and their views are then passed on to the local statutory planners who provide services. Telephone 01284 757784.

Food 'n' Friends Food 'n' Friends clubs are small, regular get-togethers for older people organised by volunteers. They meet in volunteers homes, pubs, cafe's or local schools over a light snack or lunch and provide opportunities for regular local, social contact.
