West Suffolk Cruse
Cruse Bereavement Care exists to promote the well being of bereaved people and to enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss. The organisation provides counselling and support. It offers information, education and training services.
West Suffolk Cruse will be running an Awareness in Bereavement Care course at our centre at 90 Risbygate Bury St Edmunds 1P33 3AA. The course will be 16 sessions, starting with essential attendance at the first all-day session on Saturday 12 September 2009. The following sessions are 2 further Saturdays and 10 Thursday evenings.
This course is for people with an interest in supporting and caring for bereaved people; it is primarily intended for potential Cruse volunteers though other applicants will be considered if there is space. It develops basic counselling skills to be used in bereavement support work and is accredited by OCNW at level 2.
