Sudbury Fun Run |

This event takes place every year on Good Friday (Easter Weekend). |

The Fun Run is a charity fund raising event around the Great Cornard & Sudbury area and takes place on Good Friday. It has a local sponsor and the bulk of the money raised goes to local charities. Runners & walkers can also have their own sponsors to raise other money for another charity or cause. The walkers and wheelchairs start at 9.30am followed by the main run which starts at 10.00am. The road race is timed and run in accordance with UKAA rules over a SEAA measured 5 mile course.
The 2006 Sudbury Fun Run took place on 14 April. The sponsor was Tuner Tool Hire and the funds raised went to Hillside Special School. It was organised by Sudbury Sports Centre & The Rotary Club of Sudbury.
The 2007 Sudbury Fun Run will take place on 06 April. The sponsor is Waitrose Supermarkets and the organisers are the the Rotary Club of Sudbury. Entry forms are available from Sudbury Upper School Sports Centre, Great Cornard Upper School Sports Centre, Kingfisher Leisure Centre, Sudbury Town Hall and Information Centre, Sudbury Library or download from the Official Sudbury Fun Run Website.
