Sudbury Farmers’ Market is held in St Peter’s, Market Hill, Sudbury normally on the last Friday of every month from 09.30 to 13.00.

The farmers' market held in St Peter's, Market Hill, Sudbury on Friday 26th January marked the third anniversary of this event which has become established as a popular, regular feature of life in Sudbury town centre. The market is held on the last Friday of every month with a special, annual pre-Christmas market in December. It operates from 9.30 a.m. until 1.00 p.m.

There are regularly twenty or more stalls in attendance and all of these are staffed by the producers themselves. This means that customers are able to shop with confidence as they can enquire about ingredients and production methods; they can also receive advice on the preparation of the produce on sale.  In times when there is so much publicity about the dominance of out-of-town supermarkets, Sudbury farmers' market also provides an excellent opportunity for local residents to directly support local producers in a wonderful venue in the heart of the town.

The wide variety of produce regularly available includes cooked meats, cheese, beef, smoked and fresh fish, lamb, wild mushrooms, pork, desserts, speciality sausages, soups and a wide selection of savoury products and seasonal fruit and vegetables. Refreshments are always available and are supplied and served by the team from The Bridge Project's Courtyard Cafe.
