Policing Great Cornard. Police Officers based at Sudbury Police Station respond to incidents within Great Cornard. These officers are split into two separate teams: The Neighbourhood Response Team (NRT) deals with emergency calls and crime investigations. Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) are a community problem solving team that support that have specialist skills in addressing community concerns.
Sudbury & Great Cornard SNT In Suffolk, Safer Neighbourhood Teams are made up of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Specials and Police Support Volunteers. The Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) currently consists of one Sergeant, three Constables and seven Police Community Support Officers (PCSO’s). We work alongside staff from other organisations, including district and borough councils to provide an even better service to local people across the county. Our team has a remit to solve problems identified by local people from your area - which could range from crime and anti-social behaviour to noise and litter.
