Great Cornard Car Boot Sale Dates

GREAT CORNARD CAR BOOT SALES - 2011
A little earlier this year I was asked if I ‘wanted to do the Car Boot Sales’ on The Recreation Ground at The Stevenson Centre. I said I would but needed to change the start time to a later time but this did not go down well with the stallholders so I had to go back to the earlier start time.

Some weeks we had between twenty and thirty cars so I must have done something right! I did go round and talk to ‘The Booters’ and most were cheery, happy to talk and seemed to be making a few pennies.

The sum of £1090 was made from the sale of the Boot Sale ‘pitches’ and some of this money we plan to use for the Over 60’s Christmas Party. Some people did ask me if I would run the Car Boot Sales next year? I will have a good think about it and then decide!

Finally, a message to the person who is ‘borrowing’ our padlock. Please return it unless you REALLY feel you have a better use for it than with our barrier chain!
