A CHANCE TO PERFORM
Sudbury Festival of Music Speech
and Dance is a competitive festival open to people of all ages from under
five to over eighty. It gives an opportunity for people to perform, as a
soloist or as part of a group, in front of a sympathetic audience and to
receive an expert and friendly assessment from a professional adjudicator.
The annual Festival offers about 400 competitive classes in the main
branches of performing arts: music, dance, speech and drama. Children and
adults with a wide range of abilities from all over East Anglia take part,
and benefit enormously from the experience - learning the discipline of
preparing their piece, taking the stage and watching and listening to their
peers.
