The Suffolk Foundation is a registered charity & not-for-profit organisation that works tirelessly for the benefit of Suffolk people.
FREE MONEY AVAILABLE TO COMMUNITY GROUPS
The Suffolk Foundation is seeking applications to three of its funds:
A grant of up to £3000 can be given from the Grassroots Fund, for community and voluntary groups to cover core costs or projects. Applications are considered on a monthly basis for a quick turnaround.
Also, applications are being requested from community groups for the Suffolk Single Gateway Grants programme, managed on behalf of Suffolk County Council, by the Foundation. Again, grants of up to £3000 in some cases can be given from the funds that the Foundation manages. The closing date for this fund is the 16 October 2009.
A new fund has just been launched for training purposes. If you are a community or voluntary group in Suffolk and you would like to train staff, volunteers etc., then a grant of up to £2000 can be given to support the cost of the training. The panels meet monthly to award grants.
Details of all the funds available can be obtained by clicking this hyperlink to visit the Suffolk Foundation website.
You can phone me on 01473 734127 to talk about a possible application, to chat about ideas or to ask for application forms to be put in the post.
